Se inician los preparativos para visita del Rey de España a Chile con motivo del V Congreso Internacional de la Lengua Española

La presidenta de Chile, Michelle Bachelet, ha entregado la Orden al Mérito Docente y Cultural Gabriela Mistral al poeta Gonzalo Rojas.

Desde el lunes 9 de noviembre de 2009 están abiertas las inscripciones para participar en el Programa Académico del V Congreso Internacional de la Lengua Española.

Víctor León, secretario ejecutivo del V CILE, y Eugenio Llona, coordinador nacional, visitaron Madrid, para revisar con los representantes del Instituto Cervantes, de la Real Academia Española y de la Asociación de Academias de la Lengua Española, todos los preparativos del V Congreso Internacional de la Lengua Española.

La ministra de Cultura de Chile, Paulina Urrutia, acompañada por el director académico del Instituto Cervantes y secretario general del V Congreso Internacional de la Lengua Española, Francisco Moreno Fernández; y Alfredo Matus Olivier, director de la Academia Chilena de la Lengua y secretario académico del V Congreso de la Lengua Española, presentó en julio de 2009 la página electrónica oficial del V CILE en la Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, sede del mismo.
